Vip will prepare a special experience retracing the steps down Brazil's Gold Road (Estrada Real). Numerous historical towns from the 18th century make up the fabled Ouro Circuit. They flourished at the height of the gold rush in Minas Gerais, which definitively marked Brazil's push into the interior. We will explore settlements, churches, museums, folk and religious festivals, cuisine from centuries old
habits and customs, which over time became known as Mineiro culture.
The distinctive architecture is one of the principle highlights of the route; in it we recognize the vitality of the baroque art of minas as found in Ouro Preto and in Congonhas, which have been recognized as world heritage sites by UNESCO.
