Vip Tour Group is proud to feature the newest luxury Amazon River Boat in the Delfin fleet, this vessel is the dream of a husband and wife team that sought to provide travelers who journey the most remote parts of the Amazon jungle with the utmost comfort and convenience during their Peru rainforest vacation.
Delfin II River Boat
Constructed and launched in 2009, the Delfin II is as lavish as its sister ship Delfin I and provides the same quality service by friendly staff, but it greater in size and therefore able to host more guests who wish to take an adventurous trip into the wilds of the Peru Amazon. The city of Nauta serves as the point of departure for this 120 feet long and 30 feet tall that runs on a 350 HP turbo boosted engine, traveling at 8 to 10 knots, allowing for a smooth and quick ride along the this rainforest river. Guests should be assured that all safety precautions are take aboard this luxurious ship that features a satellite phone, three aluminum boats that hold up to 12 passengers and come fully equipped with a low emission engine, life jackets in all cabins, flares and signals, and more guaranteeing your trip along this immense river is not only enjoyable but safe.
The second deck of this refined Amazon cruise ship is home to a beautiful dining room that features an elegant ambience with linen-covered tables lit by candlelight and fine china and crystal-ware complimenting this lovely table-setting. Guests will dine on delectable Peruvian Creole dishes that are prepared with the freshest ingredients, most sought from the Amazon region itself. If a guest has a particular dietary need (allergies, vegetarian, etc.), the staff of Delfin II are happy to accommodate. However, due to the remote locations of the cruise route, it is asked that special meal requests be made at least 30 days in advance.
The top deck of this luxury liner serves as a well-appointed observation deck where guests can relax on the large, plush sofas or take a quick siesta on the comfortable sundeck hammocks while getting a bit of sun. Enjoy a refreshing tropical cocktail pre or post-dinner, or a warm cup of tea on crisp nights. There is also a fully-equipped entertainment center that guests can utilize which features a variety of DVD’s to watch or reading material to enjoy.
Delfin II also includes a charming shop, decorated with lovely art-work by modern Peruvian artists and where
guests can purchase handmade Peruvian Amazon arts and crafts that will serve as a reminder of their Peru Amazon vacation.

The weather in Iquitos is warm and humid with average annual maximum temperature of 33°C (95°F) and minimum of 21°C (70°C). The dry season is from May to November. The wet season is from December to April. The seasons feature differences in the plant and animal life as well as in the climate. All activities are subject to change due to weather conditions and time of year. River and tributary levels may vary and thus navigation times and excursions may need to be modified at the captain´s
discretion. Bring comfortable soft-soled shoes, light-weight trousers and long-sleeved tops, hat, sunglasses, lightweight raingear, sunscreen, mosquito repellant, BINOCULARS, camera and spare batteries. We recommend taking Vitamin B or B-12 15 days before your arrival to the jungle; these have been proven as the most effective natural repellent of all, even though please don´t forget to bring one along with you. Don´t forget to include some items that you can give away to the locals. (T-shirts, pens and paper are especially prized). Tipping is expected by the crew and the guides, envelopes will be provided in your cabin (suggested amount is USD$100 per passenger)
